This is a bit geeky and the page title isn't very clear language, but here is a list of all major and decent-sized updates to Clear Language Club.
18 April 2026 – various styling updates
- Added light blue background and shadow to posts tagged 'Newsletter' on homepage
- Increased font size for all post titles except link posts
- Removed 'related posts' widget from single posts
17 April 2026 – added Echofeed integration
- Connected the RSS feed to Echofeed, so that new posts automatically get published on Bluesky
12 April 2026 – official launch post
- Belatedly published a post to tell people the blog is ready
11 March 2026 – changed font
- Changed global font from Inter to Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, which is more accessible and designed for people with low vision
17 February 2026 – newsletter page and date format
- Added proper newsletter page
- Updated date format for posts, so they read 28 November 1980
12 February 2026 – FeedPress integration
- Added FeedPress integration to make it easier for people to subscribe to the RSS feed
- Added new stylesheet to make the RSS feed page that FeedPress generates just that little bit cleaner and prettier
11 February 2026 – new theme goes live
- Switched from default Ghost theme to a custom theme
- Added ability to publish link posts alongside regular posts
- Created set of colour-coded tags across a range of topics
- Updated design of Bookmarks page to match the new site design
- Added new about page to explain a few things
- Added new RSS feed page
